Learn to Let Go

I decided to buy some more F. Scott Fitzgerald novels. He just writes to vividly. Ache just posted this picture recently, so Tender Is The Night just might be the next one I read.
What ever happened to Hey Arnold?

Leaf a Bright Impression Shorts from ModCloth. I want to work for that company.

Design*Sponge posted a Living In: Benny & Joon article that I am in LOVE with. The items they chose are just perfect. "Have we an internal sequin issue to deal with, Benjamin?"

I love this house.

"All's fair in love and war, and this is a bit of both."

So, not to play the nerd card, but I am SO EXCITED to see the final film of the Harry Potter series. It's going to be fantastic. July 15th, 2011.

At this point in time: 26 days, 14 hours, 22 minutes, and 15 seconds.

Check out the new trailer below!

(Just a critical note, I don't like that the same scream from Voldemort is in it five times. Yeah, watch it again- it'll bug you too.)

Here is an early interview with J.K. Rowling. Kind of interesting to imagine this woman sitting in a coffee shop dreaming of a dorky little wizard boy with a death wish.

"There's two of us in here, and it's only"

Hello Leo! Can't wait to see your Gatsby.

We need to have some parties. So I can wear this shirt ("Celebration in Tinsel Town Top." Cute.) with jeans, these shoes and maybe these, this and this. Maybe.

The Boxer Rebellion. They are fabulous.

Hope y'all have a wonderful weekend!

Tickety, boo.

So, I just spent a good hour browsing within the adorable Felt & Wire Shop. It just makes me want to buy stationary for no apparent reason.
Tickety-boo adj. 1>going smoothy, doing alright 2>proceeding quickly

I would like some of these business cards. They are just so simple. Just write your name and number on them after some cutie in a coffee shop introduces himself.

Yes, expect me to send this if I'm ever missing u.

I would like this print in my living room. Then, I would like to move it to my baby's room. Please and thank you.

Go check it out! Send me some links to your favorites! <3

Unquestionable

So, I read Ethan Hawke's The Hottest State the other day. COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN. If you are looking for a great, quick read, go for it. He is such a beautiful writer. It makes it easier to love his other work. And because he is just so cute.

Here is a blog for people who are easily angered by the misuse of grammer.

I have been gift shopping a bunch lately. MOST of my gifts will be coming from World Market. Just in case you are one of the lucky ones that recieve one. Who wouldn't want one of these "Paint Your Own Tea Sets"?

And just because I recently re-watched this film: "This is a lie, Ben. Just be upfront and tell people what you really are." Love it so much.

Because I want you to know what I am talking about

My best friend is insane. She has now somehow worked herself into being trapped, with no escape, into participating in a MetroDash competition. It's a Navy Seals obstacle course where she jumps through windows, lifts tires, and climbs ropes all for fun. (As I told her, I will be there with a margarita in hand laughing and taking pictures.)

However crazy she is, she has also inspired me to take my own health by the horns. I just started Jillian Michaels' 30 Day Shred video and I am definitely feeling it so far. I have felt so much better throughout the day and it has influenced my snacking habits. I feel like Jill is becoming part of my family. (Click here for her website.) I'll keep you updated on how it's going.

On a more exciting and creative note: I recently came across Design*Sponge's City of Orlando guide and CAN'T wait to go around and see if I agree with their opinons of fun shops and restaurants in the Orlando area. I have already been to some of the antique shops and coffeehouses, but it'll be fun to see what other people think of them. I think these three are first:

1. The Hideaway Bar
2. Infusion Tea
3. PomPom's TeaHouse and Sandwicheria

I was excited to see that Drunken Monkey made the list. It is one of my favorite places in Orlando. Makes me think of a good friend that introduced me to the coffeehouse. Which then makes me think of The Pixies' Where is my mind. And Fight Club (1999). Then I am lost in all of Edward Norton's performances and I try to pick my favorite. So... thanks for that James Brad.

New Addictions

1.

My roommate has been gone the last few days so my nightly activity has been reduced to sitting on my couch alone, eating ice cream, and submerging myself in the ridiculous world of Sex and the City re-runs. It's fabulous. I just saw the first episode last night ( I always wondered how Carrie and Mr. Big met).

2. Adele's 21 CD.

3. Black bean Soy Burgers.

4. Finding out whether this word exists. "Mamihlapinatapai- A look shared by two people, each wishing that the other would initiate something that they both desire but which neither wants to begin."

5. The soundtrack from Never Let Me Go.

6. Sewing pillows.

7. Trying to finish Brave New World. It's not all that great so far.

8. Jillian Michaels' DVD's. Watch her here on Ellen.

9. V8 Fusion Strawberry Banana and ginger snaps. Not together. Gross.

10. MAC's new Wonder Woman navy colored nail polish. (Yes, I am starting to appreciate the color now)

What are some of your ridiculous addictions?
