Vampires and Andre the Giant

So I haven't written anything in a while. Here is some of what I have been doing:

I know it's lame, but the whole "vampire craze" has influenced me. It just seems like a more grown-up version of the Twilight Saga. It's more of a guilt pleasure than anything else.

And not that TrueBlood is helping, but I have been contemplating the possibility of true love lately. Does true love really exist? All the love-pondering as lead me to think about all the great love stories out there. And because of that thought... one movie got stuck in my head- The Princess Bride. Greatest love story ever written? I think yes.

See why I haven't updated in so long? Nothing is going on in my life right now. I am saving money so I can (one) buy this wicked sweet camera and (two) have an amazing apartment next year filled with Anthropologie furniture like this. Let's see what all gets accomplished.

Have a great week everyone! : )

Blueberry Festival

My family and best friend went to The Annual Putnam County Blueberry Festival today. Fun, but definitely reiterated the fact that rednecks exist and in close perimeter to my house.

We ate blueberry flavored ice cream, bought bundles of "blubes," (as we renamed them) and my Mom even bought a blueberry plant. Never thought that I would ever taste homemade Blueberry Sweet Tea before-it was pretty interesting. If you ever get a chance to taste it, let me know what you think ; )

Some random (500) Days Of Summer videos

Just watched this movie for the million"th" time tonight and came across these videos.

This upcoming video is pretty awesome. Bad language, but still pretty funny that the three of them actually got together and made this video to counter (500) Days Of Summer.

THX THX THX :

I came across this other blog named "THX THX THX: a thank you note a day" and it is wonderful.

"There’s always something to be thankful for. From the important things like Songs You’re Embarrassed to Like, and Heavy Eyelids that Tell You When You Need to Sleep, to friends and family, love and loneliness, light and darkness, Leah Dieterich sets out to acknowledge them all. thxthxthx is her daily exercise in gratitude."

Ironically Pointing North

I bought a necklace the other day that I absolutely loved. I should not have spent so much money on a necklace, but I felt like it fit my life perfectly. While their are tons of changes going on with my family and within my own sanity, I felt like wearing a compass around my neck would make our decisions easier. So, I spend the $28.72.

I recently took all of the coins that I found lying around to one of those fast coin-counting machines (so interesting to watch, by the way.) My total was exactly $28.72. How ironic?

IRONY- an outcome of events contrary to what was, or might have been, expected; an objectively or humorously sardonic utterance, disposition, quality, etc.

So, I would like to thank all the people that have accidentally dropped their change over the last 6 months. My new necklace is much appreciated. : )
