It's December. I'm allowed to post stuff like this.

November Wishes
I can't believe it's almost the end of November. Boom- smacked right in the face by the gruesome hand of time. I have so many things to look forward to over the next few weeks- I'm just SO not prepared!
I've been contemplating making some more Wish Lists this year. What do you think of my older ones? Christmas 2011, Valentine's Day 2012, Birthdays 2012.
I wish for some new cute dishes from Anthropologie, maybe a dress or two, and EVERYTHING I'VE EVER PINNED ON PINTEREST.
This little diddy below makes me want some coffee. Isn't it Zooey Dechanel that LOVES drinking coffee when others aren't? She can join me. We'll have a party.
"I don't wanna wait..."
Confession: I only watch Dawson's Creek to watch Pacey and Joey date. After that... the series gets kind of boring. Until the end, of course. Have you ever actually seen the series finale? It's wonderful.
Reading Elizabeth's report on Episode 13 makes me want to run home and pop in the third (or fourth) season, when Pacey and Joey finally realize their feelings for each other. Just sayin'. You should read it too- it's pretty fabulous.

Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah
We each watched tons of Sing-A-Long's growing up, especially Disney ones. Do you remember any of these? The ghosts were are my favorite!
While we are out in California, we will be spending some time with my brother and his fiance. My roommate and I went out to visit him last year and had such a great time! I can't wait to show my boyfriend all the fun tourist-y places!
What is your favorite Disney memory?

"So we meet again..."
This Halloween we went as Legend's of the Hidden Temple's Team Silver Snakes. We got TONS of compliments on our costumes and even encountered the Green Parrots!

"Makes me want to buy school supplies."
Pumpkin Spice Lattes.
Ahh! Apparently this candle is the BEST.
Tell me you don't want to raid her closet.

Completely Unrelated
I have been re-reading the Twilight books in celebration for the last one coming out in a few weeks. Yes, I know it's lame. Yes, I know I am not a fifteen year old girl. I don't care what you have to say. The soundtracks are amazing.
I miss Mad Men (Check out some pictures from the new season HERE). But in attempt to fill that Jon Hamm sized hole in my heart, I have been watching WEEDS. While there really isn't any comparison, it seems to take up my time and is still pretty entertaining.
How about a little of The Civil Wars to bluegrass up your day?

The ribbon wreath looks oddly like fruit from a distance
For the past month or so, I have lost my crafty motivation. Re-pinning on Pinterest all the ideas I like, and am perfectly capable of creating myself, seems to act as my only tribute to the world of yarn, fabric, and stitching.
However, comma, I would like to now "go on record" and talk about some things I really like to make.
More of these adorable pillows. I have made one already, but it needs a friend.
Another wreath. Maybe an autumn one...
Yes. Everyone has seen these cups. I love them. I would like a set for myself. Super easy too!
I saw this post a few years ago and really want to make some. Fabric pumpkins!
A ruffled tree skirt for my Christmas trees.
Maybe a coffee table made from old pallets....
What have you made recently?

Just another Tuesday
How cool is this picture? I think Virginia is my favorite.
My best friend is getting married this weekend! Whoo-hoo! I can't wait!
I was wondering where all the Olympic athletes were staying while over in London. I like the couches on the grass.
Oh, Paul.
An article about how the fashion industry stole Posh Spice's smile.
OH MY GOSH.
I love the placement of this tattoo! Such a simple, cute idea.

Peter Campbell doesn't have a toilet.
Now that I am all caught up on Mad Men, I miss it. So, bored, I decided to do a little research and see what interesting things I could learn.
First and foremost, Peter Campbell doesn't own a toilet. Read this interview with Vincent Kartheiser.
Mattel makes Mad Men Barbies. I'm not sure how I feel about this.
And this one- 25 Things You Didn't Know About Mad Men.
On a different note- I can't believe my best friend is getting married in less than a month! Ah! This weekend is her Vegas Bachlorette Party and it is going to be SO MUCH FUN! Of course I will upload pictures, thank you for asking : )
I am working on Birthday Gift Guides. I'm pretty excited about them. They will be marvlously stereotypical, but also extremely useful if you have friends like me : )

I chose orange
Here is an entry written by Tom Hanks in remembrance of Nora Ephron who died this week:
"Knowing and loving Nora meant her world — or her neighborhood — became yours. She gave you books to read and took you to cafés you’d never heard of that became legends. You discovered Krispy Kremes from a box she held out, and you learned that there is such a thing as the perfect tuna sandwich. She would give your kids small, goofy parts in movies with the caveat that they might not make the final cut but you’d get a tape of the scene. For a wrap gift, she would send you a note saying something like, “A man is going to come to your house to plant an orange tree — or apple or pomegranate or whatever — and you will eat its fruit for the rest of your days.” Rita and I chose orange, and the fruit has been lovely, sweet and abundant, just as Nora promised — a constant and perfect reminder of the woman we loved so much."

I came across this blog today, Lists of Note, and it's a great way to spend an extra 20 minutes. These are my favorites:
F. Scott Fitzgerald's leftover turkey recipes
47 Dwarfs
The Godfather
(Roomie, this one's for you- Hemingway.)
I just started watching Arrested Development and am already upset that it was cancelled.
